Color Studies: To ground ourselves in place we are practicing observe the color around us. What colors are unique to this place? We create color palettes at Santa Clara convent, a 500 year ruin in the middle of Antigua, where you can see the layers of time. The colors of stone, tropical vegetation, sky all make unusual color combinations Its amazing how when you take a moment, how much you can observe.
The walls of antigua are paintings in themselves
